Denver UBO School
For those interested in becoming proficient in the dynamic and evolving technique of underbalanced drilling operations, Signa Engineering is offering an UnderBalanced Operations seminar during the week of January 19-23, 2004, at Forest Oil Corp., 1600 Broadway, Suite 2200, Denver, Colorado 80202.
Signa has been the leader in UnderBalanced Operations training since 1999 with their comprehensive UBO School, which takes the student through the entire UBO process, from start to finish, promoting problem solving and giving attendants a detailed, concise understanding of appropriate UBO processes.
Who Should Attend: This class is specifically oriented toward operators who are considering UBO operations, not service companies. Typical students include engineers in drilling, production and operations, field supervisors, managers, etc.
What You Will Learn: Signa's UBO School is unique in its dissemination and not limited to drilling technique - all aspects such as completion through workover and re-completion are covered. The course also addresses UBO fluid systems, major segments on surface equipment layout, drillstring & casing design, and much more.
About the Instructor George Medley is the Executive Vice-President of Signa Engineering, with over 25 years experience in oil and gas operations and R&D.
What it will Cost: $2,500 per student. Signa is offering a 10% discount ($250) for those who register by Nov. 14, and a 5% discount ($125) by Nov. 28. Also, multiple students receive a discount of 20% ($500 per student) for registrations of 5 or more from the same company. Fee includes Signa's meticulously researched, 800-page UBO Manual (English and Spanish).
