MPD is rapidly gaining popularity as a way to mitigate risks and costs associated with drilling through narrow, downhole pressure windows without prematurely setting casing.

Signa’s Walking the Line: Managed Pressure Drilling Training School educates students on the entire MPD process so students can project classroom instruction to their own MPD jobs. Various methods of MPD are covered, including combinations of backpressure, variable fluid density, fluid rheology, circulating friction, hole geometry and drillstring diameter. All MPD variations are covered, including Constant Bottomhole Pressure, Pressurized MudCap Drilling and Dual Gradient Drilling.

Fundamentals of Petroleum
Even non-technical personnel that work in the petroleum industry need to learn oilfield basics. Signa Engineering's "Fundamentals of the Petroleum Industry School" educates attendees about the entire petroleum industry, including oil and gas exploration, reservoir fundamentals, drilling and completion of wells and hydrocarbon production. Students visit a working drilling rig to get a better idea of the drilling process.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation fee is 10% if student cancels within 15 - 30 days of scheduled session and is 50% if student cancels less than 15 days prior to scheduled session.  Reservation is confirmed upon receipt of payment. Additionally, if you are unable to attend the class for any reason after payment, you can attend a future installation of the same course within one year (as seats are available).
